The weather was the one drawback, though they did their best with it. I came with my dad for a Father's Day treat and we had a lovely time at this beautiful vineyard. It has a warm, family-run feel, the staff were attentive and friendly, and the service was brilliant. The food was exquisite and clearly local, and the wines were stunning.

We had a really lovely long weekend here. The rooms were comfortable and the location was great. Louis was always just a message away whenever we needed anything. Definitely recommend.

We had a tasty lunch and a good choice of wines during our vineyard tour last Saturday. The tour itself was informative and entertaining. Getting there from Cardiff by bus was surprisingly easy, too.

The llamas got their own photos, but I was so busy enjoying the wine that I drank my servings before I remembered to take any pictures 🤭. The sparkling white made from 100% Seyval Blanc grapes was especially delicious, and I brought a bottle back to London for my Christmas collection. 🎄 The tour was a lovely way to learn about Welsh history and the local wine growing landscape. Glyndwr Vineyard, established in 1979, is the oldest vineyard in Wales, and you can really see how much care and passion has gone into the place. As someone who loves history, that part was right up my street. It’s a beautiful family-run winery overlooking the green hills of South Wales. Even the rain and mist couldn’t spoil it, and there was something a bit magical about having wine in that damp mountain weather. Lunch was delicious, too, with food from local producers. If you want an afternoon or weekend out in South Wales that ticks all the boxes, this is it. Welsh wines for the win and the future 🎉

The vineyard looks beautiful even in November, and the whole visit made for a memorable day. Everyone was welcoming and knew their stuff. We had lunch and tasted the wines, and both the food and wines were exceptional. It was a fantastic tour experience. I’d highly recommend it and will definitely return. Thanks to everyone.
