The Caledon B&B is brilliantly located, only about a 10-minute walk from the West Cowes Red Jet ferry terminal, with buses right outside for getting around. It’s a friendly, welcoming place and very well organised. Breakfast was a highlight, with good quality local produce each day, and you could taste how fresh it was. The couple running it were lovely, easy to talk to and happy to help. I only saw two rooms, but both were comfortable and well kept. I had a fantastic stay and would happily come back to Cowes and recommend it to others.

When I’m working on the Isle of Wight, I stay at the Caledon Guest House. It’s cosy, clean and comfortable, and the rooms are very quiet. The hosts are so kind and made me feel welcome. Communication was quick and efficient. Breakfast really stood out. You can choose from a very good selection and order ahead. It was all handmade and tasted amazing, with lots of care clearly put into it. A nice, relaxing place, especially if you like starting the day with good food.

The vegetarian breakfast was excellent, and the hosts were friendly and helpful throughout. My room was a good size, very clean, with a comfortable bed and in-room extras that covered all the basics. Parking was good too, and check-in and check-out were easy. A charming guest house, I’ll definitely return.

I went for fish and chips, then sat by the nearby dock watching the boats come and go. The town centre is only a few minutes’ walk, with plenty of places to shop and eat. The owners are very friendly, and the whole hotel is spotlessly clean with everything you could want. I know I’ll be back to Cowes, and I’ll stay at the Caledon if I can.

Really nice guest house, clean throughout with a lovely bed. The couple were pleasant, helpful and efficient, and the service was nice. Had a beautiful fry-up the next morning. It’s well situated, and the building, gardens and interior decor are lovely too. I liked the extra amenities.
