The venue was beautiful, and we had a lovely two-night stay for a friend's wedding. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the food was to a high standard both at the wedding and in the restaurant. The staff were friendly and so helpful. Special thanks to Evan, who looked after our table at the wedding breakfast and then worked the bar that evening. Thank you, Evan!

The breakfast was the highlight for me, one of the nicest I’ve had. Dinner was really tasty too, and I enjoyed the meal even though there wasn’t a wine menu. The hotel feels a bit dated in its decor, but it’s cosy and homely. Service was friendly and professional. I’d happily recommend it for a short stay.

We stayed here after a family birthday celebration and really enjoyed the scenic setting. The staff were lovely and helpful, and we were given a complimentary room upgrade. It was stunning, spotless, spacious, and had everything we needed. My partner and I will definitely come back next time we’re in the area. Thanks to everyone!

The Padel Court was going strong at 7am on Sunday, which we all found fascinating. We’d booked the Fox room for seven for a late lunch at our Christmas gathering, then an overnight stay for three of us and a dog, followed by breakfast for seven. We caused a few complications ourselves: bad traffic delayed the meal, Grandpa had a mobility buggy, and we needed to change rooms to fit the dog. The staff were AMAZING and helped us through it all. The chef even made an off-menu omelette at breakfast. We had the perfect Christmas meal and will keep coming back to celebrate at this great venue. Thank you.

The staff, especially Jackie, were so attentive and friendly, and the food was superb. I stayed from 1May to 3rd 2026, and the room was fabulous with an excellent bed. It’s a warm, cosy and welcoming hotel. Loved it, and I’ll definitely return.
