We loved our stay in this great little cottage. It was clean and cosy, and handy for getting out to the tourist trails. There’s a supermarket not too far away. If you’re planning to eat in nearby Hillsborough, book ahead because the places there fill up quickly.

The first morning, we heard a noise we thought was birds outside. The next morning I heard it again while my husband was downstairs, and it turned out to be mice in the attic 😥🐀. We spent two nights there, but won’t be coming back. The host wasn’t welcoming, and there were dirty dishes left in the dishwasher from previous guests and dirty cushions on the sofa. A very disappointing stay, nothing like we expected.

I loved this house from our very first night. It was such a good price, with the countryside around it and Belfast still so close.

You can enjoy the peace and quiet here and still get to the main cities easily.
