Swan House

The grounds were immaculate and secure, and everyone camping there was pleasant and helpful. Our campervan pitch was excellent, though really all the pitches looked brilliant, and the facilities were second to none. The owner greeted us on arrival and was welcoming and helpful. There’s a restaurant and pub on site with a village pub feel, which adds to the atmosphere, and the prices are very reasonable. It’s a relaxing place to stay and a handy base for Cleveland, North Yorkshire and County Durham. We enjoyed our stopover and will be back regularly.

We felt completely relaxed in our spotless chalet, with its lovely views and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious too. John was so welcoming and made us feel at home, and nothing seemed like a bother to him. We met some fantastic people, played bingo, and even tried the karaoke, which I never normally do. My husband and I loved every minute. Swan house is our new favourite place to stay, and I’d happily recommend it, 10/10 ❤️

We all had such a laugh in the bar, where John and the other customers welcomed us straight away. Nothing was too much trouble, and breakfast was gorgeous. I came for one night as a surprise birthday treat for my friend, and we all loved the quaint, comfy room. It was the best night out I’ve had in a long, long time. We’re even thinking of bringing our caravan up there. Thanks, John, for a fab stay! X

Loved it here. The rooms were fantastic, breakfast superb and hospitality wonderful. We felt very secure with our bikes too. I’ll be back. Anthony
