Crowne Plaza London - Gatwick Airport

We stayed just one night in a tidy, clean room with enough space for two. Breakfast was continental. There’s lots of parking, but make sure you register your car or you could get a ticket.

Even though the hotel was full, the gentleman at reception found me another room when I explained that the window in mine wouldn’t open. Later, when I lost my way in the corridors, the cleaning staff kindly helped me find where I was going. The room was really clean, and the staff were so accommodating. I was impressed by the care they took with the details. A great experience.

We had no trouble with noise, even though our room was at the very end of the corridor. The rooms are clean and perfectly adequate for a night, with good parking, so this works well for an early flight from Heathrow. For food, The Orangery at the golf course is about a three minute walk away and serves pretty good Indian dishes.

We came back last week for a mini break after our first stay in January, when I could barely find anything to fault. The team deserves credit for keeping the hotel running so well. Check-in, the clean hotel and rooms, breakfast, and bar service were all great. Nothing was a problem, and everyone was helpful. I'd give it a 10. We ate out in the West End each evening, so I can't comment on the evening meals. Definitely coming back.
