Crewe Hall Hotel & Spa

All the staff were lovely, and the old building is beautiful with a lovely bar. Our room was spacious and clean, with a huge, very comfortable bed and a large bathroom with a roll top bath. I wouldn't call the toiletries high end. It's a busy conference hotel, though the bar, brasserie and pool were quiet while we were there. The food was good for a large conference hotel, and we had a dinner deal included. Breakfast was buffet style, with coffee unfortunately from a machine. We had a lovely stay, and the cost was reasonable with the dinner deal.

Dinner was amazing, and I'd strongly recommend eating here. There was a long gap after we finished before anyone offered dessert. We could see the kitchen staff cleaning up and heading home, though dessert was worth the wait. We were a group of about 14, so that may have caused the delay. The breakfast was nice too, with the usual cooked items, pastries, yoghurt and cereal, all cooked well and kept topped up. I stayed for work in the west wing. The room was spacious and clean, with plenty of desk space. The bathroom was well maintained, though the shower leaked under the door and might need a new bottom runner to seal it. There weren't plugs by the bed, but enough elsewhere in the room, so it wasn't a big issue. I can't comment on the rooms in the main building, but the building and lobby looked very nice. The health club seemed included with the stay and was lovely, either meticulously maintained or recently updated. The gym was very nice, and the pool and spa were too, though the jacuzzi was a bit small and shallow for relaxing. I'd definitely return and eat here again, for work or pleasure.

We loved exploring the hotel, with its feature rooms, open spaces and lovely gardens. It's a really unique place. The gym was huge and fantastic, and the pool was great for swimming lengths. We had an outstanding afternoon tea, enjoyed dinner and thought breakfast was great too. All the staff were wonderful and everything felt perfect. There was even a pop star filming her latest music video, and we got to watch. What a lovely experience. We'd love to stay again.

Sophie made my birthday visit one to remember. She was amazing, went above and beyond, and was friendly and personable while still being professional. The hospitality was excellent, and she's a real asset to the team. The food was exquisite, and the tea was hot and full of flavour. We were also given a complimentary glass of Prosecco. Thank you so, so much 💖
