We stopped in for an unplanned dinner while out on a bike ride. The place looks smart, but our cycling clothes and muddy toddler were no problem. Staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was excellent. Bigger tables in the garden would be useful.

The food was delicious and interesting when we ate here a couple of times. It’s a treat of a hotel in the fabulous village of Comrie, with incredibly welcoming staff and cosy, comfortable rooms. There’s a lovely old fashioned bar with a roaring fire in winter, a more modern summer bar with a garden, and a comfy library for relaxing or reading quietly. Worth a visit.

I have a long list of food allergies, which usually makes eating out stressful. Duncan, our waiter, worked with the kitchen staff to put together a meal I could eat, and took such care to make sure I felt safe and could really enjoy it. The food was amazing, so, so delicious!

We loved how friendly, comfortable and welcoming it was here. It became our go to place to eat and drink, and we came every day we were in Comrie.

Dinner and breakfast were both very good, and the hotel was clean and comfortable. It’s in the middle of the small town. Some of the decor feels a little dated, and there are lots of references to shooting.
