Yann's at Glenearn House

We were a group in a separate room, private but still connected to the rest of the place. It was a lovely winter evening, warm and cosy, with a great atmosphere. The menu had plenty of variety, the staff were helpful and attentive despite the limited space, and the food was to die for. The steaks, for example, were beautifully cooked, with lots of choices. A lovely place to go again.

Yann's is my favourite French restaurant, and I save it for special occasions. The atmosphere, food and staff make for a fantastic evening, and it deserves more than five stars. If you're after an evening of pure French indulgence, this is the place.

Dinner was AMAZING, just as it’s been on the few times we’ve visited over the years. We always get genuinely excited about making the trip from Linlithgow, and this was our first overnight stay. Everyone was so welcoming, the food was first class, and our bright, lovely room had great views. Cleanliness standards were extremely high. We’ve already booked our next two visits. It’s our favourite place in Scotland for dinner!

The Scallops and Black Pudding starter deserves a special mention. We had an absolutely brilliant meal at Yann's, with friendly service, a good choice of dishes and a great wine list.
