The breakfast was delicious, and we felt properly looked after and pampered. Jim and Bridget are such a warm, welcoming, lovely couple. The house is amazing and clearly cared for, with beautifully decorated bedrooms, stairs, drawing room and breakfast room. We loved our stay and would happily come back. Highly recommend! x

We only stayed one night while visiting family a few days ago, but we hope to return for longer. Bridget couldn't be there, and Jim took such good care of us, even though they had other important demands on their time. The house is beautiful, and our lovely room looked out over their extensive garden. Breakfast was a delight, and Jim's hospitality was second to none. Thank you both for fitting us in.

The room looked out onto a real English Garden, and although it was a bit cool, my son still made use of the pool and croquet. It was very spacious, with a kind size bed, a roll away for our son and room to spare. The separate private bathroom had both a shower and a tub. The full English breakfast was delicious, and the nearby pub, The White Hart, served lovely meals in a family friendly setting. Getting around would be a bit challenging without a car, as their posting clearly says. We found Fairstowe Bed and Breakfast at the last minute when we needed a place to stay, and felt lucky to find such a beautiful B&B. Jim and Bridget were helpful and accommodating from the start, making us feel warmly welcome. The house is beautifully decorated, with little details that show Bridget's eye for interior design. We stayed in July 2017 and would highly recommend it. We hope to stay again next time we go home to visit.

Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and nothing felt like too much trouble. Bridget even found me three different sized safety pins when I asked for one. Jim welcomed us at the front door and helped with our luggage, then showed us to our beautiful, spotless room. We had time for a quick coffee before leaving for the wedding. Jim brought fresh milk and offered us coffee on the terrace, but we were short on time, so had it in our room instead. A brilliant stay all round, we'd definitely recommend it.

Breakfast was lovely, and so were the hosts. They were very nice, and the area was lovely too, but this place just wasn't our cup of tea. We might have felt differently in the bigger room. We had to walk over a mile to the local pub for a meal, though the food there was lovely. The room had a few problems for us: the landing was dusty, the bedroom was dark with poor lighting, and the bedside lamp had no bulb. The bathroom was tiny, with a dusty shower head and a shower plug blocked with hair, so it wouldn't drain. The kettle wouldn't fit under the tap, so I had to fill it using a glass. Luckily we'd brought our own hair dryer, though it would be good to have one in the room. We also had to share one big dining table with the other guests. Having separate tables might be better. We'd read the other reviews and expected it to be a great place.
