The full English breakfast was first class, cooked very well with fresh local produce. This is an excellent B & B in a beautiful rural spot. Our bedroom was spacious and comfortable, with a TV and a good ensuite bathroom. There's also a residents' lounge with lots of local maps and information. The owners were friendly and helpful. We'll return next year.
I'm 85 and have travelled extensively all over the world, and this was one of the best stays I've ever had. I was on a cycling holiday, and Beth and Mick were fantastic hosts. Superb rooms, advice, breakfasts, views and gardens. As Arnie said, I'll be back. 100% AOK.
Lovely hosts, and a good balance: close enough to restaurants, while far enough out for peace and quiet.
So peaceful here, with lots of birds around and even a peacock.
Our room was really spacious and fully equipped, and the people were incredibly friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for guests. A fantastic house with a great view, and highly recommended if you're in the area.
