Robert was an ideal host, available when needed without hovering. We loved our cottage during our five nights touring Scotland. It was in a perfect setting and gorgeous inside, with everything we needed and then some. We highly recommend it and will be back.

Quiet and private, and well placed for day trips in every direction. The stay was even better than the photos: really spacious, comfortable and clean, with a home-like feel.

A peaceful spot where it’s easy to relax and recharge. The holiday accommodation is high quality and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

We kept saying we could live here. After three nights, it really felt like a little home away from home. The houses are cosy and homely, with everything you could need, and you can tell a lot of thought went into every choice. The bed was extremely comfortable. It’s a lovely place to base yourself for hiking or simply relaxing with beautiful views. Highly recommend for a stay while travelling in the Highlands.

We spent a week here, Monday to Monday, and really enjoyed the view. The owners were pleasant, lovely and polite, and we’d definitely recommend staying. It’s a handy central base in the Highlands: Inverness and its city feel are an hour away, the Isle of Skye for panoramic views and hiking is two hours away, and Fort William with Ben Nevis hiking is about an hour and a half away. One thing to plan for is groceries. Do a big shop before arriving, since the nearest shop we knew of, according to Google and our experience, was in Fort Augustus, 20-30 minutes away. Even that is actually just a gas station.
