We spent a lovely weekend here with friends and family. The rooms were clean and attractive, and the setting was beautiful. Ewan and Taryn were great hosts and were happy to help with anything. Breakfast had a delicious range to choose from, and after our walks it was nice to relax in the lounge. They also had plenty of information about things to do nearby. We’d definitely visit again 😊

We had a great weekend here with eight friends. The hosts made us feel very welcome and were happy to help with anything. The bedrooms were comfortable and beautifully decorated, and breakfast was cooked to order. There’s a generous, comfy lounge with lovely views from every window. I’d thoroughly recommend staying here.

I had a great time here and would come back. The grounds were nicely kept, the village was quaint, and I found some impressive hikes to explore. There’s a little pub a short drive down the road. A really nice British man helped me get the pronunciation right a couple of times, Bencrackeon, I think? The hosts recommended it too. Great food and a beautiful drive up. My room had a full tub and was very clean and well maintained. The hosts took time to explain the shower head, which I guess may have tripped up other guests since there was a how-to on it. It was easy enough, though! The house and rooms are adorable, tastefully decorated without being too jazzy, and the hosts were absolutely phenomenal. The weather was mixed at this time of year, with some good days and some bad ones. That’s out of the hosts’ hands, of course. When the rain and wind came, I cozied up with Netflix in my room or sat by the fire in the common room. Both were lovely options.

Once the kids were asleep, we had a relaxed evening in the lounge with jazz records and games to choose from. Taryn and Ewan looked after us really well for our night here. The house is beautiful, comfortable, and cool, the showers were great, and breakfast was wonderful. It’s in a lovely spot, with a river swimming place an easy walk away.
