We loved the wildlife around Fisherman's Cottage. There were loads of rabbits and hares, plus deer, butterflies and birds, and relaxing in the hot tub was a treat. It’s a lovely, peaceful place with everything we needed, and the welcome pack was generous and thoughtful. Avril was quick to respond, friendly and helpful. The toilet cisterns sometimes didn’t refill, but lifting the lid and tapping the blue float down sorted it out, so it wasn’t a big deal. Only one room has a wardrobe, though our over-door hooks came in handy. It also makes a great base for day trips. Beamish, Saltburn by the Sea and The Forbidden Corner were my favourites. The Fox and Hounds in the village was lovely, with delicious food and a play area for kids. I’d definitely recommend this beautiful holiday home.
