A wonderful retreat with lovely views, a log burner and a beautiful hamper waiting for us. It had everything we needed.

Grace's Retreat had all the home comforts we needed for a lovely week, and the owners were friendly and gave us some good ideas for places to visit. The bed was really comfortable, and the shower had great pressure. The location is handy for exploring all sorts of places in the North East. We even lit the fire when it wasn’t quite cold enough 🤣. I’d definitely stay again.

John and Anji made the three of us feel so welcome. The cottage is warm and cozy, the setup is top quality, and we’d love to return. It’s a fabulous place in a wonderful location, with great food, pubs and a local shop all close by. A proper gem!

The photos don’t really show how good this place is. The owners are friendly, know the local area well and are happy to help. I’d absolutely recommend it for a quiet little getaway. 5*
