Just B Seventeen Town House

The location was excellent, close to downtown and the Harbour, but we ran into a lot of problems. The main issue was communication. The owner was slow to reply, and messages through Booking.com were useless because the replies were only automatic. When we arrived, the door at the address we'd been given wouldn't open. A woman came out and said the room was hers, which was embarrassing. We kept messaging the owner while trying the door, but got no reply. Eventually she called and explained over video that our room was on the street around the corner, not at the address we had been given. The code for the key box was wrong too. Once inside, we found that only the double bed had been made, even though we'd booked for three. There were no sheets or bath towels for the third person, and although the listing advertised a sofa bed, there wasn't one. Our daughter had to sleep on a mattress on the floor. There were only two chairs despite space for more, so someone always had to eat on the bed. The WiFi password didn't work and there was no information about it in the room. The Nespresso machine was unusable because its water container was missing. The owner fixed both issues within an hour, but the WiFi signal stayed poor and very unstable. We had three sugar sachets for three people for a two-night stay. When I asked for more, the owner said they'd be delivered within an hour, but we waited 24 hours. One other issue wasn't the owner's fault, but could have been explained on the website or Booking.com. The apartment was on the ground floor, with frosted windows facing directly onto the street. We felt confined, couldn't even see the street, and could hear all the noise day and night.
