The staff made our three-month stay while we were moving house feel incredibly welcoming. Margaret took such good care of us at breakfast, and Dave, Lisa and Mary greeted us warmly whenever we came and went. The bar and waiting staff were just as friendly and helpful, and the room was kept spotless by the courteous housekeeping team. We were comfortable throughout, the chef’s food was delicious, and everyone seemed happy to help. We’re coming back after Christmas to arrange a special function for next year, and we’re sure the team will look after us again. Please pass on our thanks to everyone. We were thrilled with our stay at Astley Bank.

I’m in the area for meetings now and then, so this hotel is handy. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff always make you feel welcome. I had duck on my last visit and it was superb. The food is excellent. Definitely worth considering if you’re nearby.

We had a lovely dinner here to mark our ninth wedding anniversary, and every course was delicious. The staff were friendly and polite, with superb service. We’re looking forward to celebrating our renewal of vows here next year.

We had Christmas Eve dinner at the Astley Bank Hotel, and all six of us enjoyed our meals. I wasn’t especially comfortable in the seats, but it was still a very pleasant experience and the food was good.

Mary always sorts everything out for me, and that’s a big part of why every stay at Astley Bank has been 10/10. I’m a regular now and plan to keep coming back to Darwen. Much recommended!
