Springbank Manor

The room and venue were nice and accommodating for the wedding we attended. But the wedding breakfast was LANCASHIRE HOTPOT, and the potatoes on top were still raw. It’s a simple dish, so this was a very poor effort. I felt sorry for the bride and groom, who are a lovely couple. Come on, Whitehall, learn how to cook. This wasn’t what you’d expect from a venue with so much character, or how you’d want to showcase it for weddings.

We travelled from North Yorkshire for a Lancashire getaway and booked the date night package. The room was spacious and private, and the meals were spot on. We were lucky enough to be there for the relaunch party, which meant a brilliant night of entertainment in the function room. We were pleasantly surprised by how good the hotel was. The management and staff were very welcoming, and you can see they’re a committed team who enjoy their work. Highly recommended.

Natalie gave amazing service, really knows her stuff and was so friendly. The food was 5* as well, and we even had a little deer visit. We’ll definitely return. We were upgraded to the honeymoon suite when we arrived. It was spacious, with a very comfy bed. The chipped paint around the window sills, skirting and frames was the one letdown, along with a weak shower and a sink’s cold tap that ran warm. None of that spoiled our stay.

We came for Mother’s Day lunch and found it good value, with excellent, nicely presented food. The atmosphere was good and the staff were very polite and friendly. Service was a little slow, but they were quite busy.
