We popped in for what we thought would be a quick drink while passing through Ringwould, as we'd never had a drink there before. The barmaid and landlady made us feel really welcome. It's clean and tidy with a nice atmosphere. Looks like they offer accommodation too. We'd stop in again next time we're passing.

The bar was comfortable and welcoming, with a working pool table and darts board. The food was lovely, and there was a fair choice of beers and spirits. There's no parking, only street parking. The room was nice, though the bathroom floor felt a bit "squidgy" underfoot and had clearly had water damage at some point. There was also a cobweb on the lampshade.

It's a really interesting place on a corner. The accommodation is cosy, nice, and tidy, the prices are reasonable, and the people are very polite.

Awful place, overpriced and noisy. The owner Shelley Parnell came across as spiteful, vindictive, and not a nice person. Stay away.

The staff were genuinely friendly and apologetic about the TV noise on the first night, though there was little they could do about roadworks that carried on from about 10:30pm to 4:30am the next. We barely slept either night. There’s no parking on the grounds, but you can leave the car on the nearby side road, which may not suit everyone. Our room felt fair for the price, though it could use some care. The mattresses were reasonably comfortable, but without a sheet between us and the duvet, it kept slipping off and our feet ended up uncovered. There were no meals available during our stay, so we had to go to a nearby town to eat. We stayed three nights, but it wasn’t a great experience and I don’t think we’d return.
