Nigel helped us sort out an issue before we arrived, which we really appreciated. The room was warm and clean, and the bed was comfortable. If we’re back in the area, we wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

The room was absolutely stunning and really comfortable. Nigel made getting in easy, with clear instructions for entering the property. It’s also ideally located for me, close to where I’m working. I’ll look to stay here again next time I’m in the area.

The rooms were clean and warm, and the street was quiet. There’s secure parking behind gates, and the whole stay was hassle-free. Much better than the other chain-style hotels. I’ll definitely come back when I’m in Derby.

I absolutely loved staying here. The room was amazing, clean, tidy and comfortable, and the private gated property has its own parking. Nigel, the owner, provided excellent customer service. It’s a fantastic little getaway spot, and I’ll definitely be back.

I’ve stayed at Borrowdale Lodge three times while travelling for work, and the accommodation has always been spotless and very comfortable. Nigel knows the area really well and gave me some great restaurant recommendations. Highly recommended if you need somewhere to stay nearby.
