I’ve stayed here many times and it has never let me down. The buffet breakfast is excellent, and the staff are lovely and helpful. The location is great too, with the town centre just a few minutes’ walk away. Parking next door is very reasonably priced. One small thing that would help is having a shaver or toothbrush charging socket in the bathroom. Highly recommended when you’re in Derby.

We all had an amazing few days away together. The place was clean and tidy, and the self check-in was easy. Staff were always around to help. Breakfast had a good selection, and you can pay on the day without booking ahead.

The rooms were lovely and the staff friendly, and the location was quiet. But be aware that the walk to the car park is a long one with luggage. We couldn’t get our car out of the supposedly 24-hour garage after checkout, so it stayed locked in for another three hours. There was no apology, just “as far as we know, it is 24hr.” They didn’t even offer tea, despite us having had a full English.

The room was very clean and there was no traffic noise. Breakfast was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was excellent. Digital check-in was a complete mess: it wouldn’t read the QR code in our booking email, then it failed to activate our room cards.

My husband and I stayed after a wedding. The location was ideal and the beds were really comfortable. But when I got up the next morning to shower, it wouldn’t work because the seal had broken.
