Our stay went smoothly, and the team seemed to have handled the Covid crisis well. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It’s close to the M1, Donington circuit and East Middlands Airport, but we weren’t unduly affected by them.

Handy for pilot training at East Midlands Training Center, with the airport about a 20-minute walk away. It’s a very good place to stay, and breakfast was good too.

The village is small, with very little in the way of amenities, but the hosts are great and the rooms are lovely and quiet. Prices are very reasonable. I’d definitely stay again.
