Premier Inn East Midlands Airport

Kia’s professionalism really stood out. I heard her training a new starter, and it came naturally. She’s clearly dedicated to her role. The service from Kia, Chris, Emily, Corey, Daniella, Amy and Pamela was excellent. What a lovely bunch, they all made me feel welcome. Staff like this should be cherished. Give them pay rises 😁 I look forward to my next visit. I’ve edited my review because I left out Daniella, Amy and Pamela the first time. Thanks all! Ben. Bucher Municipal

The staff were all polite, and Steven deserves a special mention for making our stay seamless. My husband and I stay at Premier Inns often, and Premier inn East Midlands Airport has been one of the best. We paid a little extra for a Premier Plus room and thought it was well worth it. It was exceptionally clean and spacious, with a comfy bed, mini fridge, rainfall shower, ultimate WiFi and a bonus view of the airports runway. Nothing was too much trouble, and we’d definitely stay again.

We ate in the evening and the staff were efficient, but there weren’t enough of them. One young guy was seating people and serving food and drinks, and he was run off his feet. I ordered a cappuccino with my meal but never got it. The food we did have was hot and tasty enough, though. We stayed at this Premierinn before flying from East MidlandsAirport. It’s in a great spot for easy access to airport parking, and there’s plenty of overnight parking at the Premierinn too. I’d use it again, but hope the restaurant has more staff next time.

The manager, Christopher, was particularly disappointing. When I raised concerns, he seemed panicked, dismissive and unkind rather than addressing them calmly and respectfully. There was no sense of accountability or customer care, which made matters worse. The hotel was very dirty and poorly maintained, with disorganised common areas and rooms. Cleanliness fell far below what I’d expect from a hotel with this reputation, and the place felt neglected and badly managed. Good hospitality depends on cleanliness, organisation and professional management, and this hotel failed on all three. I wouldn’t recommend staying here, and sincerely hope serious improvements are made.
