Standard Double Suite

The room was freezing, there was no food available, and even the pub was closed. I couldn’t find a single member of staff. To top it off, there were small black hairs in the shower. Absolutely disgusting, and the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

Rich kept in touch from the time I booked through to our arrival, and was always happy to help. He even arranged decorations and had the room ready before we got there, then welcomed us and carried our bags upstairs. He and the team made our birthday stay feel special. We had the Sir Samuel Sleigh suite, which I’d asked for specifically. The original beams, four-poster bed and gorgeous bath made it stunning, and the space was clean and thoughtfully put together. It’s our favourite room we’ve ever stayed in. Thanks, Rich and the brilliant team. We can’t wait to return, and I’d recommend the hotel without hesitation.

The continental breakfast was superb, and the bar was nice too. I only needed a small room for an overnight stay, and it was very comfortable and quiet, just right for a good night’s sleep. It was a pleasure meeting Richard and chatting about all things Stockport.

The room was basic, but it suited us, and the comfortable bed was clean. The area was pleasant and not too noisy. Richard was friendly and accommodating, which really added to our good impression. My partner and I stayed one night, and for a cheap, clean, comfortable place, I’d recommend it.
