The roast was the best I've had out, and the food was lovely, with so much thought put into it. You can tell the chef cares about quality and the little details. Poppy deserves a shout-out for the great service. Such a nice atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit!

Our room at the front was beautiful, and the whole stay was so good I'd give it more than five stars if I could. It's a cosy village hotel with lovely staff. We had a fantastic evening meal, really tasty with generous portions, and breakfast was just as delicious and filling. The hot drinks, cocktails, local ales and lagers from around the world were great too. The private car park is handy, though it gets tight when full, especially with a bigger car. All good otherwise, and we'll definitely be back. Thanks!

We came for a lovely stay and to catch up with our extended family. Everyone on the staff was so polite and helpful. Lauren deserves a big thank you for going the extra mile to make us comfortable. She was always smiling and very professional. We'll definitely return.

The place has such a warm, welcoming feel without being over the top, and we felt relaxed and well looked after. The food was exceptional and the service excellent. We did get woken by beer barrels being delivered at 6.30am, but even so, it was a super stay. Thank you for the lovely time and amazing food!

We liked our stay at The Boot. The room had a pleasant design, though it felt a little tired, and a fresh coat of paint would help. The shower was tiny, and the complimentary drink offer was so restrictive we didn't bother. I'd rather they hadn't offered it. The bar and restaurant are popular, and you can tell the business works hard to keep customers happy. They put on regular events and themed nights, and the Sunday lunch is especially well regarded. We thought the food was good, just not a standout. If you're there on Sunday evening, check the restaurant hours as it closes early. The car park is tight too. I'd call it 3.5 stars rounded up to four.
