The Brisley Bell

We really enjoyed our visit to The Brisley Bell, and being able to walk there from our holiday accommodation was a bonus. The meal was fabulous, and the gardens, food, atmosphere and staff were all amazing. If you’re in Norfolk, I’d definitely recommend a visit. Book ahead, and have a look around the beautifully landscaped, well-kept gardens too. 🤩

We’d had a Brisley Bell gift voucher and had been wanting to visit for a while. The chilled atmosphere and professional staff lived up to expectations. They were attentive while still giving us space to enjoy our food and drinks. My husband and I shared mackerel and scallops for starters, both delicious, then had steak for the main course. It was cooked very well, as were the sauce and accompaniments. We were too full for dessert, though the plates going to the next table looked tempting. It cost more than we’re used to paying, but the food and service quality made it worthwhile. We’ll go again.

The only thing that bothered me was the limited parking. There’d be more spaces if every car parked side by side at right angles to the grass. We didn’t stay in the accommodation, though the rooms look as if they’d be up to a high standard. We went for Steak night on Tuesday. The food was excellent and good value, and it’s a quality restaurant I’d gladly recommend.

It was a busy Friday night, but we were lucky to get a table for two. The welcome from the staff was warm as soon as we arrived. The food looked beautiful and tasted amazing, and the cosy, romantic atmosphere was just right. We’ll absolutely be back. I can’t recommend the Brisley Bell highly enough.
