Riverside Apartment

I stayed in the apartment from 10th to 11th July. Getting in at first was confusing and delayed because the door to the correct corridor had no number. There was nobody there to meet or greet us, though the apartment itself was as described on the website. The next evening, after a meal, I couldn’t get back in because the entrance keypad wouldn’t accept the code. I called the contact number and was told to “Grab a seat in the Mandarin palace next door” while he contacted the agency. That would have been difficult, as the restaurant staff were leaving and we’d been the last customers. My daughter, granddaughter and I were left out in the rain without coats. A kind man helped us get in through the back entrance. The contact called back to say someone would come help, but by then it was too late. Needless to say, I wasn’t impressed with the service.

The apartment was stunning, so homely, warm and relaxing. I loved staying here, and the kitchen was really well equipped!

The hosts were fab, and communication was good even before check-in. The river views are beautiful, and it’s only a five-minute walk from the city centre. Highly recommend it!

Great location, with Tesco just in front of the apartment. Parking is available two minutes’ walk away, and access was easy.
