Our break was really enjoyable. Gwen gave us a warm welcome and showed us to our room, and the full English breakfast was excellent, made with local produce.

After a long day's walk, I arrived at St Jude's exhausted and later than expected. Gwen made me feel at home straight away. There was tea and coffee in the room, and she brought me milk right away and checked I had everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable, too. The house has a lovely family-home feel, and the large garden is beautifully kept. Gwen was a wonderful hostess. She even agreed to serve my well-cooked English breakfast earlier than usual the next morning. Afterwards, she invited me to walk across the Dersingham Bog with her dog Jaz. The heather fields were quiet and still in the light mist, with dew and spiders' webs everywhere. As someone travelling in another country, I really appreciated the peaceful walk and our chat. I'm so glad I stayed at St Jude's and highly recommend it.

We only stayed one night, but had a great night's sleep in a very nice, clean room. The owner made us feel very welcome, and breakfast was superb. We'll definitely stay again.

We'd booked three nights with Gwen and Jazz the dog after driving up from Southampton for my auntie's funeral on Friday. We had a very good stay, and the breakfasts were good too. Gwen, hope you have a good year. All the best, Ian and Margaret x.
