Sue was so warm and walked us through how everything worked, including the handy instructions that made figuring out the oven and hob easy. The place is cosy, quiet and private, with a lovely little town close by. We had a rainy weekend, so the barbecue and firepit stayed unused, but we still made the most of the hot tub. It was a great spot for a relaxing break, and I’d happily recommend it.

There was so much set up for a weekend away: a grill, outdoor seating, an open fire, a cool box and the usual indoor facilities. We enjoyed a walk around the lake and the hot tub was incredible. Sue showed us around and made sure we knew how everything worked. The secluded, cosy setting was just what we loved. A blind or curtain in the bedroom would have been a nice addition, though it didn’t affect our stay. Thanks to Sue and Darren, we’ll be back.

The hot tub and fire pit were a lot of fun, and there were plenty of activities to enjoy. It’s a lovely little cabin in a beautiful rural setting. We had a great time and would recommend it for a countryside escape.

We loved the peaceful stroll around the private lake, and spent the evening by the huge fire pit. The green area had games equipment to use, and meeting Mumsie the adorable cat was a treat. The pod was lovely, the hot tub was great and the bed was comfortable. Sue greeted us warmly when we arrived. We’d planned more nights, but family commitments meant heading home after one. It was an early anniversary trip for my wife and me, and we’ll book again when we need a break from the kids and busy life. Many thanks.
