Conon Hotel

The food was nice and the staff were pleasant, but service was slow tonight. Our drinks took more than 20 minutes after we ordered. Nobody checked on us when the food arrived, and when I tried to get someone’s attention to order dessert, no one came over. We waited 15 minutes with no staff around; when they appeared, other guests who had arrived later were served first. In the end, we got up, paid at the bar and left.

We were lucky to have a warm, comfortable room while staying there during storm Amy. It’s a cosy, lovely family-run restaurant, and the food was quite good. Every staff member we met was friendly and helpful. Thanks for making our stay during the storm a nice one!

The Conon Suite was fantastic for our two-night stay. I loved the little details in the room, especially the Visitors book dating back to 1951, and the bed was superb. The food was outstanding, and the staff were kind and polite. The whole stay was unbelievable, and we’ll be back 🙂

The hotel is in a quiet spot right on the NC500 route, and I could leave my motorbike securely out of sight in the car park behind the building. I spent three nights here using it as a base to tour the Highlands. Booking directly was a dream, with all the information I needed before I committed. The meals were high quality and nicely presented, with lots of choice for breakfast and dinner. There’s spacious seating inside and out, plus a bar. My room was clean and comfortable, with a roomy shower and bathroom. A great experience, and one I’ll recommend. Many thanks.
