The rooms were comfortable, the beds well set up, and breakfast was excellent. The host was so friendly and made us feel very welcome. At first, though, the entrance and lounge put me off. They feel tired and smell musty, with air freshener layered over it. We spent the evening at the nearby pub The Torrent Walk, where the welcome was friendly and the home-cooked food tasty. They also handled my dairy allergy well.

A great breakfast and very comfortable beds in this small family-run B&B. It's in a Victorian villa, just a hundred metres from bustling Dolgellau square. There are lovely walks close by, both easy level routes and mountain ones. National Cycle Route 8 passes by, and there are plenty of buses. The train station is at Barmouth, 9 miles away.

We know the place from an earlier visit and will definitely be back. It's a perfect base for Dolgellau and the surrounding area. Duncan gave us a warm, friendly welcome, and our room had a comfortable bed, TV and en suite shower. There was a kettle with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and two complimentary chocolates. Everything was very clean, and breakfast was fantastic with loads of choice.

We were given a dog-friendly overnight stay and were very pleased with it. Duncan welcomed us warmly, and both the room and en suite were immaculate. Breakfast was included and hearty, served by a friendly waitress, and they even had a sausage for our dog. We'd definitely come back for a longer visit. Thank you.

Our room was functional, spotless and had a comfortable bed. Tea, coffee and biscuits were there, and replenished daily. The hosts were welcoming, and each morning they served a hearty breakfast with plenty of options. A lovely traditional little B&B right in the heart of town. Recommended.
