The hosts’ replies to criticism are insulting. After I left a negative response, they made out that I was stupid and even claimed my family didn’t respect one another. They also said I should book somewhere else if I couldn’t afford a premium service, though those items weren’t advertised on booking.com as costing extra. They seem to enjoy questioning guests’ intelligence and have no idea how to treat customers. They watch guests on all nine cameras and listen to conversations, so be warned before ordering the hot tub. They’ve mentioned guests walking in the road in their pyjamas in several reviews, including mine, though the person they described wasn’t wearing pyjamas or barefoot. This is the worst place to book.

We always pick up after our dog, and she did not poo in the neighbours’ garden. None of us went into that garden, and nobody took a nightgown. They say they check their many CCTV cameras when issues come up, so please review the dates we were there and send me all the footage. This response from them is disgusting. It feels like they’re biting back because of a poor review.

The place was clean and the facilities were good, so I can’t fault those. Just be aware that using the lounge and the back garden costs extra, which is a bizarre arrangement.

The listing mentions an Xbox and hot tub, but once there I found the hot tub cost another £100 and renting the Xbox for one night was £200 including the deposit. The terms and conditions are strange, and the whole place was a joke. Creepy too. Worst Air BnB I’ve ever had the displeasure of staying at. Just look at the photos, I’m not even joking.

We were heading south and stopped for one night. The location worked perfectly for us, and the place was comfortable and well equipped.
