Rossington Hall

Rossington Hall is now available for private hire rather than as a hotel. I stayed there for a training course. The setting was beautiful, peaceful and stunning.

Saturday 14 Sept was a wonderful birthday tea at the beautiful Rossington Hall, where my daughter and granddaughter took me. It felt like stepping back in time, and the house is lovely. The staff were fantastic. I’d be pleased to visit again. Good luck!

We came by train from London, an easy 1.5hr ride from Kings cross after work, then took an Uber from Doncaster. I also arranged food deliveries from two big supermarkets, which worked well. For meals, we chose the catered option on Saturday, and the food was beyond expectations. I’d recommend the mushroom entree and chicken main. The staff brought out the birthday cake I’d brought, thanks to Gary, Debbie and Charlotte. The industrial kitchen handled meal prep for 33 of us easily. I made pizzas and a big buffet breakfast, and the heat lamps were very useful. I hired Rossington Hall exclusively for my 30th birthday last week in Feb 2025, and it exceeded what I expected. The staff were welcoming and hospitable, especially Debbie, Gary, Thomas and Charlotte, who made it a weekend I’ll cherish. We arrived to a log fire on a wintery day, then Debbie and Thomas showed us around. Each room had its own character in the manor decor. The drawing room was my favourite, along with the fabulous Streatfield suite. After the tour they left us to enjoy the place privately, with a bell to call if we needed anything. The heated jacuzzi was a lovely surprise at the end of the evening, as I hadn’t known about it while planning. Lucy was helpful and quick to respond to my many email questions beforehand. The no noise curfew meant we could party until sunrise. It was such an incredible weekend for me and my 33 guests, and the cost was very affordable compared with other places I’d found. I can’t wait to come back!

Breakfast at the lodge was fabulous, and dinner was delicious. The dining room had been beautifully dressed, and the staff made sure nothing was too much trouble. We were a party of 17 staying last night for a surprise Golden wedding anniversary celebration for my parents. Debbie, Jane, Lucy, Gary, Thomas and the whole team made it memorable and helped make the anniversary extra special. Rossington Hall has once again given us excellent service in a fantastic setting.
