Dover Marina Hotel & Spa, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

Our modern, spacious room was spotless, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and waking up to the sea each morning felt special. The hotel itself is stunning, with a luxurious feel, lovely décor and a warm festive atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious too. The staff were friendly, professional and welcoming. A special thanks to Rimshan, who went out of their way to make us comfortable, especially with our 2-year-old son. Highly recommend it for a relaxing getaway.

By the marina, the hotel has beautiful views and a really relaxed atmosphere. I brought my other half here for his 32nd birthday, and the team were so welcoming, always going out of their way to make us comfortable. Cha, Arun and Lauren were amazing. We kept ordering cocktails because they were so delicious, proper drinks made with care rather than cheap, rushed ones like you get in most places. I'm glad he's turning 32, because I've found my new go-to for when I need a break. A big thank you to the lovely, generous team 🌸❤️

The staff really made this stay. Even while training new colleagues, Reception was friendly and quick, and let us into Room 303 an hour and a half before check-in. Everyone we dealt with was professional, helpful and understanding. The Hotel Manager quickly arranged free dry cleaning after I got a sticky mark on my suede and fur coat from a chair. I was rushing to hand it in and forgot to pay the restaurant bill, but after a polite message while we were at the spa, I came back to settle it and the staff were lovely about it. Later, when an alarm went off in our room late at night, Reception came quickly, moved us to another room, gave us a complimentary late checkout and extended our parking permit. Brilliantly handled. We paid £125 for two people for two nights, which was really good value. The hotel is clearly refurbished and everything feels like it's maintained to a high standard. Our warm, spacious room had plenty of wardrobe and drawer space, a dressing table and chair, plus a coffee table and chairs. An iron and ironing board, a hot, fast hairdryer, kettle, fridge, teas, coffees, sugars and biscuits were provided, along with USB ports above the plug sockets. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. The refurbished bathroom had toiletries, fluffy towels and a hot shower. Afternoon Tea at Churchill Restaurant was plentiful and nicely presented, and they gave us boxes for the leftovers. Breakfast in the White Restaurant had a huge selection and was nice, hot and well cooked. Staff were always around to help. The spa facilities were clean and good. Towels were available when we asked, though none were offered at the entrance. Bathrobes cost £5 to hire, lockers need a padlock, and the showers had hot water and toiletries. There are plenty of Marina Parking spaces in the public car park behind the hotel, with payment of £5 per day at Reception. The only issue in the room was that we couldn't turn off the audio narration on the TV until Maintenance brought another remote. We had a great stay and will definitely choose the Hilton Dover Marina again. Thank you for everything!

We booked a Superior Room with a balcony and sea views for a two-night birthday stay. The reception team helped arrange a fruit platter, and a cupcake from Lola was delivered too. We’d forgotten my partner was a Hilton Gold member, but because there was availability, the staff upgraded us to a beautiful Junior Suite as a birthday gift. It was bright, spacious and had a breathtaking balcony view. The hotel is lovely and right by the beach, with amazing views. Dinner at White’s Restaurant was delicious, and breakfast was simple but very good. On Saturday, Churchill Bar had a great atmosphere with live music. The tall gentleman behind the bar really knew his drinks, making excellent Negronis and Old Fashioneds. Thank you to the whole team for a wonderful stay. Saby & Jonathan
