We stayed two nights from Friday in a deluxe double room and would come back. On our first night my partner became ill and needed an ambulance. I went downstairs to let them know one was coming. The staff member was kind, asked if everything was okay, and guided the crew to our room while respecting our privacy and checking we had what we needed. He was Moussea, if I've got the spelling right. The hotel has a lift across its three floors. It's slow and steady, which may suit anyone who doesn't like fast lifts. We enjoyed the room the second night. The bathroom was a little snug but had everything we needed, including a rainfall-style shower, shampoo, soap, mirror, sink, toilet and toilet roll. There was a good-sized fridge for our drinks and breakfast. The hotel doesn't serve breakfast, but there's a cafe nearby, plus a kebab and pizza takeaway on one side and a Chinese takeaway on the other. A couple of doors away, a small shop sells drinks, snacks and some food. The location was ideal, about 5-10 minutes from the town centre and a 15-20 minute walk through town to the seafront and the Dover cliffs. For the price, it was well worth it. Thanks for a great stay.

The location was a real plus: around a 10-minute walk to Dover Priory station, five minutes from a self-service laundromat, and near restaurants, grocery shops and little stores. The room was quiet and had a refrigerator, but it stayed hot even with the air conditioner on. It was clean enough, though I found small dark hairs on the sheets. The internet was poor throughout our stay and went out completely for a day. When we asked reception, the employee seemed flustered and curt, saying everyone had been asking and it wasn't in his hands. He gave us a long, defensive explanation even though we weren't arguing with him. At check-in, another employee seemed confused and said we'd booked two rooms through booking.com, despite us booking one directly on their website. The staff seemed well intentioned, but came across as overly eager and almost aggressive. At checkout, a different employee first said we could leave a review, then a moment later told us, “do the review.” That's the kind of pushiness I mean. Park Inn Place was mediocre, somewhere between the worst and best places I've stayed.

For a bed before catching the ferry, it was just right, though it's not somewhere I'd choose for a honeymoon. The room was small but clean, and the bed was fine. Mahmu, I think that was his name, was excellent at reception and very reassuring. I'd stay again.

Musa at reception gave exceptional service. The rooms and service were excellent, and the location is very convenient, close to the main bus stop and railway station. Highly recommend.

A handy and well-priced place to stay before an early ferry. Everything was very clean and tidy, and the room was well equipped with what you need. I'd definitely recommend it.
