The cottage was so quiet and impeccably clean, just right for my two-night stay. When travel problems threw my plans off, Kate, the owner, helped with my luggage herself and helped me adjust things at the last minute. Everyone was kind, including the owners of the gift shop next door, who helped Kate with some logistics. The place is tranquil and lovely, with great amenities, bath products and Nespresso coffee. It’s in town but still very peaceful, close to everything, including Fiddlers restaurant, which was very, very good. I’m grateful for all Kate did. It also seems like it would make a lovely romantic retreat for a couple. Thanks again for the Scottish hospitality!

Kate’s Wee Cottage felt like the magical home of elves or hobbits to my gal and me, visiting from Texas. It’s full of charm and cosy comfort. Kate had stocked the kitchen and bathroom with more than we expected, from cookware, dishes and silverware to towels and other essentials. Anyone taller than an elf will need to duck through the doors, but that’s part of the fun.

We had a really enjoyable stay and would definitely come back. Kate made us feel welcome and was available by phone if we needed her. The Wee Cottage is beautiful and cosy, right in the heart of Drumnadrochit, with private parking and a garden, and it caters for dogs. It’s well equipped to a high standard, with a comfy bed and furniture. The Loch Ness Hub is across the road for souvenirs and information about walks and travel. Shops and takeaways are about a 15-minute walk to the left, while tea rooms, a deli, restaurant and gift shop are two minutes to the right. Highly recommend.

We arrived a bit earlier than planned, and Kate, the owner, welcomed us in and walked us through the Wee Cottage before giving us the keys. She’d also left fresh eggs, tea and coffee, plus all the facilities we could need. The bed was extremely comfortable, and we got a good night’s sleep. We were lucky to have gorgeous weather, too. Thanks so much, Kate. Can’t wait to book again. A definite 5 stars.

A really cute, cosy cottage, furnished beautifully. The owner was great at communicating and shared advice on places to visit. There were lots of extra little touches for people and dogs, and our dog was very happy. It’s perfectly placed for exploring Loch Ness. We’d love to come back.
