The gym and pool were good, and the location and staff were friendly. The rooms were comfortable enough, with fans provided, but they didn’t really help during our stay and there’s no air con. Showers were okay as long as nobody else was using them, since someone showering on your floor could leave you stuck with soap in your eye. Some rooms are a long way from reception. Check-in was rough: the self-service machines weren’t working properly, and everyone needed staff to write the keys, causing long delays. Staff said the lifts had been broken for a long time. The sauna had also been out of order for over three months, according to members. Breakfast was extremely poor for the price, so there are better options nearby. The bar staff were often slow and seemed unfamiliar with their products and till systems. Police came by multiple times while we were there, and third-party security were always on site. I’m not sure I’d stay again. For me, the gym and pool, along with the price, were the only selling points.

I had a really nice evening here for a work Christmas party. The food was excellent, and the staff were top notch, friendly, professional and great at their jobs. I don’t know what the rooms are like, but based on the service and food we had that evening, I’d heartily recommend staying here. Top marks all round.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, and all our requests were taken care of perfectly. The rooms were clean and spacious, with good quality bedding. There are lots of tourist spots nearby, and Tesco's is within walking distance.

The food at Jim Village Hotel restaurant was delicious, and the prices felt very reasonable for the quality. I visited last Saturday and loved the place. The beautiful design, comfortable seating and lovely atmosphere made it a relaxing, pleasant evening, with wonderful music. Service was excellent, too, with very friendly and attentive staff. Everything was perfect, and I left delighted. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal.

The hotel looks nice, but the service left me feeling awful after every interaction. The air-conditioning in my room didn’t work, and I couldn’t open the windows. The small lady at the front desk said she couldn’t do anything or give me a fan because they’d all been stolen. So I paid to sleep in a sweat box. At the bar, the young girl serving me made me feel like I was bothering her and had zero customer service skills. Then a young lad told me off for entering the wrong table number in the app. All three times I dealt with staff, I came away feeling crap.
