The gardens and panoramic views of the Solway Firth are amazing, and the weather couldn’t have been better. Our cottage was very comfortable, quiet and relaxing. It was lovely and clean when we arrived, just as it was last year. This was our second visit to the Oyster Catcher, and it’s had a lot of redecoration inside this year. It looks lovely, and we hope to return again. Thank you.

The huge garden, quiet neighbours and gorgeous views keep us coming back every year. The location is lovely, and the gate gives direct access down to the beach. My dog gets a whole week there without needing to see his lead.

It was cosy, warm and clean, and we all slept well every night in the very comfortable beds. We spent New Year at the Oyster Catcher, and the dogs loved having the beach as their back garden for the week. One tip if you book: look for the little slip road, as it can be hard to find at first 🙂.

A brilliant spot for anyone with a disability who wants to be near the sea but still have some privacy. The views are breathtaking at any time of day. A fantastic place to visit.
