The beds were clean, the room smelled fresh, and there were nice towels and a small TV. It was simple and private, with lovely staff. The woman with curly hair was especially great and accommodating. I’d stay again. I’d read the reviews and expected the low price to come with some catch, so I was pleasantly surprised.

I had a quiet, relaxing overnight stay with my small dog, from 02/04/26 to 03/04/26. The room was clean and warm, the bed comfortable, and we had everything we needed. There’s a Subway at the entrance, handy for a quick meal after a long drive. Two lovely gentlemen welcomed us and helped with my bags while I pushed my disabled chihuahua in her pet stroller. I’m disabled myself, and really appreciated the help. The gentleman at reception was especially friendly and welcoming. A smile and a bit of help go a long way. Thank you both. We’ll definitely be back soon, maybe in a couple of days. You’re a credit to the hotel and booking.com. Five out of five from a very happy customer and her dog.

Filthy, disgusting place. There was blood and sweat on the pillows, with no pillow protectors, urine on the duvet and a room that smelled like a urinal. Black mould was in and around the bath and by the window, the shower head seemed like a health hazard, and the heater was rusty and filthy. A child on reception basically turned away when I said I couldn’t stay. Avoid it, you’ll catch something!

The smell was so bad when I walked in that I got a massive headache and had to take tablets. With the window shut at night, the smell gets to you; with it open, nearby traffic wakes you and you might get a big whiff of cigarettes. I woke up with bites on my neck and leg. All four rooms we booked were the same. There was no AC, just a useless table fan, and reception wasn’t staffed all the time. The rooms had dirty carpets, a broken ceiling light, no bedside sockets, no hand soap or shower gel, and a disgusting smell. Worst hotel I’ve stayed in. I hate this place, and it ruined two nights in Dundee.
