The neighbourhood was the downside for us. There were some odd people around the street and the smell of urine seemed to be everywhere. The apartment is on the ground floor, though its little garden just outside the bedroom window meant passing cars and people didn’t disturb us. On Saturdays, parking in the street may be restricted because of football games nearby. Inside, the place was spacious and cosy, with a comfortable bed and everything we needed, including in the kitchen. There are little shops and a bakery around the corner. The owners were lovely to deal with, quick, friendly and easy to reach. We asked about a later checkout and that was possible. We needed somewhere quickly and were glad we could book at 5 pm and arrive by 6:30. The apartment itself was wonderful, but I have mixed feelings about the location.

There’s plenty of space and the apartment has lots of facilities. The owners are lovely and happy to help. Public transport is good, and there’s on-street parking. Nearby you’ll find a supermarket, bakery, corner shop, several takeaways and a pub.

The area was very bad, and the TV was terrible. There was no help at all getting things put right.
