The breakfast was a basic Scottish spread and quite hearty, so some fresh fruit would have been welcome. My room was modern and fresh, and the corner room upgrade gave me so much space I almost had too much of it to myself. The big windows were nice, and although the hotel is on a busy road, I didn't notice noise in the room. Staff gave a warm welcome and explained everything clearly. It's a short walk from the station, restaurants and town centre. A very good stay in Dundee.

We were in Dundee filming a TV production and working some crazy long hours. The staff made things so much easier, always kind, cheerful and ready to help. Karen was an absolute godsend, and Kinga and Luke went above and beyond too, among others. The rooms were clean, the beds comfy and the shared spaces friendly. There's a brilliant Lidl right next door as well. It's the people working here who really make the hotel shine. Thanks again from the Hungry Bear Team xx. Highly recommend!

Room 104 was bright, spacious and spotless, with a modern look and a comfortable sitting area. It had tea and coffee facilities, plus an iron, ironing board, safe and hairdryer. The gym was clean and well maintained, with running machines, a bike, cross-trainer and weights. Breakfast was included and had a broad mix of hot and cold food. The hotel makes a handy base for Dundee: the V&A, HMS Discovery, shops and museums are all within walking distance. Parking costs £10 a day. There aren't many spaces right outside, though we got one; there's also a small underground car park and an overflow arrangement with a nearby NCP. Reception were welcoming and efficient, and helped register our car. The staff made the place feel warm, and we enjoyed our stay. We'll be back, and I'd recommend it.

Just one night for my wife and me after travelling from Inverness and arriving quite late. Luke gave us such a warm welcome at check-in, and was really kind and helpful. We grabbed a quick drink before heading out, and Daniel at the bar was just as friendly. We had a lovely chat with him. Short stay, but a great one. We'll return. Luke and Daniel are a real credit to Hilton.

The hotel had a welcoming feel, and the staff were friendly, professional and always happy to help. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Our room was modern, comfortable, clean and well equipped, and the central location made it easy to explore Dundee. I had a wonderful stay at Hampton by Hilton Dundee City Centre and would happily give it five stars. I'd choose it again on another visit, for work or leisure.
