Hotel Indigo Dundee by IHG

I've stayed here many times over the last 3-4 years, and the rooms, food and service have always been great. The staff are friendly, accommodating and go out of their way to help with requests. The bar staff are fantastic and always up for a good conversation. I'd recommend it to anyone staying around Dundee. Please bring the Hake Risotto starter back!

The family room worked perfectly for the four of us, with two double beds. We slept comfortably, and I loved the walk-in shower. Staff were friendly, and breakfast was lovely: a good continental selection, very nice coffee and the option of a hot full breakfast. Daisy Tasker, the restaurant connected to the hotel, served great traditional dishes made with local ingredients. It's an ideal place to stay when visiting Dundee. The bus station is within walking distance, and the V & A and other sights are close by and worth a visit. We'd stay again.

Parking is the one difficult part, though the staff do their best to help where they can. Otherwise, it's clean, modern and good value, with very helpful staff and a great included breakfast. Rooms are spacious, and the location is handy for Dundee.

The bed was extremely firm and the pillows were thin. Everyone has their own preference, so it might suit you, but I think I need a massage after that. A bedding upgrade might be worth asking about. Even so, I'd recommend the hotel. It's clean and well kept, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the bathrooms have lovely products. The lobby bar is nice too, with great staff.
