The breakfast room was stunning, with a fantastic choice of food. I got a warm, friendly welcome, and the hosts were informative and did everything they could to make the stay enjoyable. The house itself was beautiful, and my single room was just right: clean, warm, comfortable, and well equipped. I hope to come back with my family later this year.

We were sorry to leave after our six-day stay. The hosts were welcoming and friendly, and the accommodation was clean, comfortable, modern, and worth twice the price. Nice little touches included quality toiletries, power strips, water, and the rarely seen washcloths in the UK. Breakfast catered for different allergies and dietary needs. It was also really convenient for several types of transit into Edinburgh and back, while giving us a bit of respite from the city during festival season. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Pitreavie to other travellers.

We’ve stayed twice and have been delighted to come back to this friendly, comfortable B&B. The owner is very helpful. Rooms are clean and have a good-sized TV, a good shower, and a few treats. The big, comfy bed and sumptuous breakfast are particular highlights.

The owner is friendly and makes a wicked breakfast. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, too. Great place to stay, and I’ll definitely visit again next time we’re in Scotland.

I had a lovely four-night stay in a lovely house run by a lovely couple. They seemed happy to help with anything. The shower is the reason I’m not giving five stars: it took 10 minutes to reach a reasonable temperature, and the water pressure was almost nonexistent. My daily shower was painfully slow. I pity anyone with hair.
