My friend has coeliac disease, and she usually finds eating out stressful because of possible gluten cross-contamination. Here, the staff gladly cooked her a separate meal, brought completely clean cutlery and offered any fresh equipment she might need. She felt very welcome, and was touched that they gave her a new set of cutlery, something she said had never happened before. We stayed one night and were both happy with the experience. The staff were polite and accommodating, breakfast had a good selection, and the hotel was quiet. It’s in a leisure park, with another retail park only a short bus ride away. Our room was very clean, though one pillow had a small blood stain. I know those can be hard to remove, so I just turned it over. I normally stay at Travelodges, but after this visit I’ll consider booking with Premier Inn again.

Charlotte at Dunfermline premier inn at leisure park was so helpful. When I asked, she brought me a duvet and even a heater. She couldn’t have done more for me. Many thanks to her. If the rest of the staff are like Charlotte, I’ve chosen the right hotel.

The breakfasts were good value and served during useful hours, from 6:30am to 10:30am. I leave tomorrow morning after a great stay. The room was a good size, with a modern design, plenty of space, useful extras and lots of plug sockets. The hotel and breakfast were well priced.

I want to thank Chelsey personally for how she handled our arrival. She was courteous, professional and empathetic, and did everything she could to put the initial problems right. When an issue came up with my room, she stepped in and resolved it without causing any more inconvenience. She also apologized straight away about the restaurant being closed, then kept us informed as she got updates. Premier Inn has a fantastic member of staff in Chelsey, and she deserves recognition.

Our flight from Edinburgh was cancelled, so we ended up staying here. It was a miserable experience. The room felt like a dive, small, dark and very basic, with damaged furniture and missing corners. The bathroom floor was sticky. The restaurant was shut, so we had to eat at Hollywood Bowl, and there was nowhere nearby to get toiletries. The hotel had none to buy or hand out. I wouldn’t wish this stay on my worst enemy.
