The Inn At Charlestown

We had a wonderful stay at The Inn at Charleston for our 10th anniversary. Diane and Jimmy looked after us so well, especially during buffet breakfast. They were attentive, helpful, friendly and easy to approach, and their warm hospitality made our mornings. The pod rooms were very clean, comfortable and convenient, with everything we needed for a relaxing visit. Thanks to them and the whole team. We'd happily stay again.

We booked a pod at the last minute for a weekend away. It was reasonably priced with breakfast included, and had a proper bed instead of the fold-out bench and plastic mattress you get in some other places. There was also a small ensuite shower room. The pub had a nice range of food at fair prices and a good choice of drinks. It looks out over the Firth of Forth, with a big decking area that's great for lazy late nights. It's dog-friendly, and there are lots of nearby places to explore with them.

I had a lovely short break, with a fantastic couple of days. The staff were friendly and helpful, and from the balcony room we could sit outside thanks to the weather. The views were amazing. On our walks, everyone said good morning or hello. I'd definitely go back.

The room was clearly well cared for, and everyone working there was friendly. It’s a lovely hotel in a great spot, with everything you’d want despite being independent. Good value too, and I’d take it over one of those tired big-brand basic hotels.
