This was our second stay before flying from Stansted, and I’d come back again. It’s reasonably priced, with Jet Parks a short drive away and Great Dunmow just over a mile’s walk for food or pubs. Check-in staff were really friendly, the room and bathroom were clean, and the bed was comfy. There were extra pillows in the wardrobe too.

We booked a family room for me and my two kids because we had an early flight from Stansted. It was easy to reach, in a great location, and there was plenty of free parking for guests. Reception is open 24 hours, and the staff member there was lovely and friendly.

The rooms were very clean and looked like they’d all been refurbished. We had a delicious meal, with a £14 meal deal, and the staff were friendly and knew their stuff. It’s also easy to get to the main road.

After the renovation, the hotel has a homely feel. It was quiet and relaxing, with friendly service and a great location near the airport. The free car park felt safe and secure. I’d definitely stay again.
