Ken’s care and attention to detail were amazing. He was a kind, warm and friendly host, and often shared advice about things to see and do. His breakfasts were delicious. Our room at Douglas Park Guest House was spacious and comfortable, with beautiful decor. The house itself was lovely, and the view was lovely too. We had a wonderful stay and only wish we could have stayed longer. I highly recommend Ken and Douglas Park Guest House. Thank you, Ken.
Ken was a great host, and both Douglas Park Guest House and Dunoon exceeded my expectations. My updated twin room was quaint and inviting, with a cozy garden view. The larger rooms are elegant and have coastal views, which are hard to beat. Breakfast was amazing each day, with fruit, yogurt and a full Scottish. The shared spaces felt cozy and relaxing. The bathrooms are updated and well equipped, with lots of hot water and a shower wand, which I love. I appreciated the hospitality. Dunoon is easy to explore on foot along the sea wall, and from here you can walk around town and see what it has to offer.
A friendly, comfortable B&B right on the waterfront, with great views across the water. There’s plenty of choice at breakfast. If you’re looking for a good B&B in Dunoon and it fits your budget, look no further.
Ken was a knowledgeable, welcoming host and made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. Our stay at Douglas Park Guest House in Dunoon was fantastic. The rooms were spotless, comfortable and had everything we needed to relax. Breakfast was delicious, with lots to choose from and cooked just right. We’d happily return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
After a few days at Douglas park guest house, my partner and I can’t wait to return for much longer. I’ve worked in the business for years, I’m fussy, and we travel all over. This is absolutely the best guest house we’ve stayed in, though sadly we weren’t there nearly long enough. Everything was perfect, immaculately clean and super comfortable, with the best breakfast you could have. Ken was so helpful and welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble. It’s an ideal base for exploring this stunning part of Scotland. And I can’t forget gorgeous Tilly, a very sweet, super cute little girl who was always glad of a cuddle. Thank you for looking after us, Ken. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
