The hot tub and heating were both great, and the location worked well, with a kids’ play park a short walk away and the town centre a short drive. But the house feels neglected and empty, and it can be noisy. It’s clean, though not immaculate. The kitchen needs updating and more attention to detail, there were no soup bowls or steak knives, and there’s no dryer. Doors are awkward to close, and the decking is messy. At £2300 for a week, I don’t think the house is in good enough condition for the price. It’s a spacious five bedroom house, but that cost should reflect its condition.

Right by the water, with the main village not too far away. A wonderful place to stay.

A superb villa for a group, in a great location. I’d recommend it.
