River walks start right by the cottage, and the owner is lovely and happy to help with anything. The showers, kitchen and beds are all first class. It’s set far enough from a dual carriageway that you barely see or hear it. The only downside is that Wi-Fi works only in the kitchen and lounge. Five-star accommodation.

I’ve stayed here twice and am already looking forward to coming back in September. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. I’ve given service four stars simply because it’s self-catering. If you haven’t been before, it’s well worth a visit.

We loved the outdoor space and hot tub at this lovely cottage. It’s in a beautiful setting and an easy drive from Durham city centre. Thanks for having us!

Really enjoyed the weekend here. A lovely, clean place that was well stocked.
