We spent a week in this lovely, quiet cottage in Brancepeth. It was a good area for cycling along the disused railways, and there were plenty of suggestions for trips out. Both bedrooms had facilities, and the cottage had every utensil and kitchen item we could need. I haven't stayed in another cottage so well stocked.

Handy for visiting Durham, with great facilities. The ground floor flat was comfortable and spacious, a 4-birth (2bedroom) place with 2 bathrooms and paying.

The cottage was beautiful and well placed, and the owners were obliging without intruding. I couldn't fault it, and it was excellent value for the price.

A small cottage, but laid out well and with good facilities. The views were beautiful, and it’s a nice base for touring.
